According to Biomedicine Today, Amgen (AMGN) will ship temodar, a drug used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS), to India for the first time. MS is the primary supplier of cancer drugs in India, accounting for two thirds of all cancer medicines administered there. MS is the second-largest source. Aside from Amgen's partner Cipla in India, Novartis is another company that distributes biopharmaceuticals, including the MS drug, to India. The two large pharmaceutical corporations declared their ambition to work together in 2014.
