Just one suggestion: Don’t get to the shipping container just because you’re anxious to use some of the tool you bought. Wait until you need to ship that package before shipping it anywhere internationally. If you’re shipping it within the country, wait until after the forwarder is physically present. Think about the shipping agent that will receive your package in the container. If you’re dealing with international service, and you are willing to pay shipping charges to the shipping agent, maybe you should leave your package on the floor near the shipping agent’s desk. Then, the forwarder is like a taxi driver waiting for you when you need to ship a package. But remember, they will take your package and ship it somewhere else on their route. When the delivery agent has it, there’s no need to have it left on the floor of the shipping container.
